Summer 2003 will be remembered for automotive movie tie-ins. Could call it the
"Rise of the Machines" even. Cadillac and Mitsubishi have shown the value in
high-profile product placement, but it is Jeep and now Toyota that have brought
screen magic to the streets with special-edition models.
A direct tie-in with this summer's action film "T3: Rise of the Machines," the
Terminator 3 Special Edition package offers unique interior and exterior
enhancements such as a full color-keyed appearance package including a custom
grille, T3 badging and graphics, fog lamps and 17-inch magnesium-toned alloy
wheels. The interior features distinctive Dark Charcoal perforated leather
seats, and metallic-appearance interior trim on the dash.
