Eagle One Media Acquires THE TERMINATOR™ Digital Comic DVD License
Macomb, MI, March 1, 2005 – Eagle One Media, a multi-media company is proud to announce it has acquired the worldwide license from StudioCanal Image S.A. to produce a Digital Comic DVD based on the iconic blockbuster science fiction motion picture THE TERMINATOR™. Titled THE TERMINATOR: HUNTERS AND KILLERS this new sci-fi adventure story is set for release on DVD in June 2005 with a retail price of $ 9.99.
Termed a Digital Comic DVD this unique DVD product utilizes the visual artwork, dialog text, and storyline from several published comic books and with the blending of professional voice-over for the characters, music, surround sound, and stunning special effects, creates a flowing viewable product that simply plays on any DVD player, PC or game console with a DVD module. A typical Digital Comic DVD has a run time of 100 minutes or more for the viewer with a quality on par of a motion picture release that can be purchased at half the cost of the printed comic book version.
Against the backdrop of the world created in the motion picture classic THE TERMINATOR™, THE TERMINATOR: HUNTERS AND KILLERS continues the story of mankind’s battle for survival at the present and in the future against the computer system SKYNET and its merciless machines. With digital imagery, surround sound, and special effects, fans around the world of the film will be able to fully experience in a whole new way another fantastic graphic adventure in THE TERMINATOR saga.
